GOALS AND INTENTIONS

The most important goal of Shri Kanaiyalal Agarwal Bal-Niketan Nursery & Primary School is to help children develop to the fullest stature physically fit, mentally alert and morally upright with an accent on character formation.

“The primary object of the institution is to bring about the harmonious blending between the traditional and the progressive methods of education. Our endeavour is to create free human beings who are able in themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives”.

Our teaching method and subject matter are so evolved that they can develop, harmonise and bring together the powers of heart, feeling and action in the child. When such an integration has been brought about, the basis has also been laid for mental adaptability, initiative and moral strength in adult life. In Short, our aim is to impart the best of education with utmost care, love and understanding with a view to installing into these young minds, early enough moral and ethical values, strength of character, discipline, national outlook, respect for all religions and an abiding spirit of service and sacrifice, thus helping and encouraging them to develop a broader and healthier outlook in life.

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT AREAS :

Apart from the academic courses offered which are externally assessed by the school, the following areas of study will be internally assessed and will also be covered as part of the curriculum.

COMPUTER EDUCATION :

The school aims at making students use the computer both as a productive tool and as a means of creativity for self expression. The lab is a well furnished one providing the ambience for the right sort of computer education. The curriculum encompasses technological skill based on themes that are current and meaningful. It also helps children to build a solid foundation of fundamental learning skills and prepares them for the fast changing technology of today and the future.

INTER-ACT CLUB :

The Literary Association organizes service projects to foster the spirit of education in Science, Mathematics, English, Hindi, Tamil, Environment and Arts & Crafts.

CO-CURRICULARACTIVITIES :

Music, Dance , Elo cutio n, Dramatics, Read ing , Writing & Communication skills, Story telling , Debates etc. are conducted to develop the artistic talent in pupils and to encourage their creative thinking.

Extra Curricular Activities :

First aid, Mehendi, Pot painting, Emboss painting, Greeting cards, Clay modeling, Making Ornaments , Bouquets , Clocks, Flower Baskets etc., are conducted specially on Saturdays.

INDOOR GAMES :

Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess are conducted.

FIELD TRIPS:

Field Trips are conducted as a learning experience based on the curriculum.

SPIRITUAL EDUCATION :

Moral values, Meditation, Gita Chanting and Bhajans are taught to make them experience our rich culture.

HOUSE SYSTEM

To instill in pupils the art of self-discipline and self governance and to encourage spirit of healthy competition among them, they are organised into four houses as given below

Physical displays, sports events and games are compulsory for our students. Every pupil has a colourful sports uniform.
